Emma Newman has over 25 years of leadership and operational experience across Health and Law Enforcement, motivating and leading large teams to deliver excellence typically in high-pressure situations. She moved into the Aged Care sector in 2023 and is the Senior Operations Manager at MercyCare. Here she has gained a deep understanding and appreciation of Residential Aged Care services in particular.
Her ability to navigate the regulatory, legal and compliance frameworks which govern Aged Care, have resulted in all facilities meeting or exceeding the Aged Care Standards. Emma is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders, and maximizing organizational capability through effective mentorship and demonstrating servant leadership principles. Emma is accomplished at managing multi-million-dollar budgets and formulating strategic plans tailored for dispersed and remote workforces, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and success. Her passion to professionalise operational environments and support emerging and aspiring leaders results in a balanced environment of quality care and business savviness.
Emma holds a Batchelor of Science (Psychology, Criminology and Business) and Masters in International Conflict Analysis and is an experienced Board member.
