David has close to 30 years’ experience in the health and aged care sectors with clinical, operational, and executive roles in both public and private healthcare and biotechnology. David is also an experienced Director, having served on several not-for-profit and industry peak body boards.
David has owned or operated several aged care organisations. He is the Managing Director of Curtin Heritage Living, a not-for-profit provider of innovative residential care, in-home, community engagement, and retirement living services in the inner beachside suburbs of Perth.
As a registered nurse with post-graduate qualifications in business, governance and leadership, David has developed a reputation as a thought leader in the aged care industry. David was an innovAGEING Innovator of the Year finalist in 2022 and has been awarded The Minister’s Award for Excellence, National Better Practice Awards and ITAC (Innovative Technology Across Care) awards.
