Joanne King is the People and Culture Manager at MCCI, since August 2021. With over 15 years’ experience across government, not-for-profit, and private sectors, Joanne brings a strong track record in building inclusive, high-performing workplaces that reflect and support diverse communities.

She works closely with leaders to strengthen organisational culture, develop leadership capability, enhance employee engagement, and embed a strong focus on employee wellbeing and psychosocial safety. Joanne is particularly passionate about fostering multicultural, people-centred environments and advancing trauma-informed practices that support staff to feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Her expertise spans employee relations, organisational design, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing and psychosocial risk, and strategic workforce development, with a strong focus on driving sustainable, positive change in community-focused organisations.
